Our commitment

Responsible AI

How we enforce our values in practice.

What Viorant builds

We do not build foundation models. We do not control third-party model outputs. We are not a model provider. We are not an AI application, we are the operating layer beneath all of it.

Viorant builds intelligence infrastructure. We build the control layer that makes AI systems visible, accountable, and governable.

The responsibility divide

The responsibility for model behavior remains with the organization that deploys it, and the model provider. Our responsibility is to build the infrastructure that makes that responsibility enforceable and observable.

If you cannot see what your intelligence did, you cannot be responsible for it. We make you see.

Values shape what we build. Principles shape how.

Portability

What customers create with Viorant must remain useful without Viorant. Artifacts are open formats. Lock-in is not acceptable.

Locality

Execution and authorship default to the user's machine. Hosted execution is a deployment choice, not an architectural requirement.

Provenance

Every artifact, decision, and action carries a verifiable chain to its origin.

Isolation

Trust boundaries are enforced by structure, not by convention.

Vendor-Neutrality

No single vendor sits in the architectural critical path. Vendors are hosting choices; protocols and formats are commitments.

Deliberation

Changes to the system are made deliberately, recorded immutably, and surfaced when reality departs from plan.

Restraint-by-Default

The careful path is the default for both users and engineers. Risk is opt-in, named, and reversible.

What we will not build

We do not knowingly support systems designed to violate applicable law, engage in unlawful surveillance, manipulate individuals deceptively or coercively, facilitate discrimination based on protected characteristics, or conduct malicious cyber activity.
